America is famous for many things, the most important being education. The world’s biggest country, America is located in the Western Hemisphere with an area of almost 9,400,000 square kilometers. It is twice as large of all the countries of Europe combined, minus the U.S.S.R. It is two and a half times smaller than the Soviet Union.

The USA is advantageously placed in the middle of the North American continent, in the temperate zone between latitudes 25° and 49° N. It is bordered by the Atlantic in the east and the Pacific in the west-and controls the Panama Canal connecting these two oceans.

Undergraduate degree tuition is between $16,000 and $34,000 per year, and master’s degree tuition is between $23,500 and $79,000 for the entire program.

International students from all over the world choose to study in the USA because an American education is the best preparation for their future. It becomes all the more within your means with financial aid, scholarships and assistantships on hand. At the same time students are allowed to work 20hr/week during their course and 40hr/week during vacation which helps them to earn and learn.

International students can take up on campus jobs they are allowed to work 20 hrs per week during semester (on campus). On campus jobs may include teaching assistantship or research assistantship where a student is paid on an average $8 to $10 per hour thus student earns approximately $ 500-$ 1000 per month or can get a waiver in tuition fees. With this, a student can also do internship in the related field which may be paid.

During vacation the student is allowed to work for 40 hrs per week. On completion of the course, student is allowed to work for 1year popularly known as OPT (optional practical training). Students with certain degrees are allowed to work for 29 months. On completion of their OPT; the student can later apply for work on a H1 B visa (work permit visa).

English language requirement

  • All undergraduate applicants must obtain a minimum TOEFL score of 525 (71 on the Internet based version), minimum MELAB score of 77 or IELTS score of 6.0, or PTE Academic score of 48, or Completing the ELS level 112 Intensive Program.
  • All graduate applicants must obtain a minimum TOEFL score of 525 (71 on the Internet-based version) or a minimum MELAB score of 77 or IELTS score of 6.0, or PTE Academic Score of 48 for full-time academic admission.
